In one of the most fitting distribution schemes ever, the Napster-focused documentary Downloaded will be debuting online tomorrow (9/12/13) for free. The film, which is directed by Alex Winter (Freaked) and features interviews with Shawn Fanning as well as Henry Rollins, Billy Corgan and Beastie Boy Mike D, will be available to stream courtesy of AOL. Just head to AOL On or DownloadedDoc.com. The film can be watched on a phone, tablet, Roku, XBOX, etc, via the AOL On app, plus via AOL sites including Moviefone.
The availability is ongoing with no expiration date yet announced. But if you watch Downloaded tomorrow you can check out the special live social streaming version on AOL.com featuring Winter and other guests. That happens at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.
