The best of Doc Alliance is streaming free for the last time.
One of the best documentaries of 2016, Sergei Loznitsa’s The Event, is again available to stream for free on the Doc Alliance website. Sadly, this appears to be the last time that or any other docs will be offered at no cost, as the site is changing after the new year. That’s why they’re sharing the best of the Europe-focused streaming service through the end of this month. In addition to The Event, there’s Harun Farocki’s In Comparison plus recent docs from Syria, the U.S., Canada and the Czech Republic.
