Filmmakers: Get 25% Off Your 2016 Atlanta Film Festival Submission Fee Through Nonfics

This is a bit short notice for anyone looking to submit by tomorrow’s Earlybird Deadline, but we’ve just partnered with the Atlanta Film Festival to provide our film-making readers with a discount coupon. This should help you out if you had to miss the cheaper Earlybird Deadline, actually. We’re offering 25% off any submission fee through the Regular Deadline of September 18th and Late Deadline of October 23rd. That’s not just for documentary submissions but also narrative features, shorts, experimental films, puppetry films, music videos and television pilots.

And you’re going to want your film to screen at the next Atlanta Film Festival, because the 2016 edition (April 1–10) will be the event’s 40th. That means they’re planning for the biggest and best festival yet. I trust that it will be, too, because so far in my short time living in the Atlanta area, I’ve witnessed the festival improve significantly with each year. Especially in the documentary programming, the competition for which I was honored to serve on the 2015 jury (congrats again, Stray Dog). More than three-quarters of this year’s impressive crop of over 200 films came from submissions, too.

To take advantage of our discount, just submit through FilmFreeway and use the coupon code NONFICS25. When you’re ready, head over to the Atlanta Film Festival submission page to see the original rates and rules and then click on the FilmFreeway button from there. Good luck, and hopefully I’ll be watching your doc or other type of film next spring.
